In accordance with the new guidelines issued by the Commissioner of Education for the State of Texas, Morton ISD School Board has made the following changes to its mask and face covering policies on school property.
1. Social distancing will remain in place where feasible in the school setting.
2. Mask-wearing is encouraged at school events where large numbers of community members gather together.
3. Mask wearing remains a personal choice and will be permitted at school.
4. The Superintendent is authorized to temporarily rescind this Resolution pending further Board action in the event of changed conditions, including an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the school population.

Re: Seniors who plan on attending college or vocational training after high school.
All seniors have been given a scholarship packet for local
scholarships. The completed scholarship applications are due April 12th in the counseling office. Each application will need 2 or 3 letters of recommendations, an essay, and a copy of their transcript.

We have a few FREE Covid vaccine doses left. 1st come 1st serve elementary school cafeteria. Anyone 18 and older welcome.
Monday, March 15, at 10am, we will be giving the Johnson & Johnson Covid vaccine at the Elementary Cafeteria. We will administer to those who reserved one first and then it will be forst come first serve. You must wear a mask, and please be prepared to wait patiently for your turn. Thank you.
