Third grade would like to first say congratulations to Bernice Roman on winning the American flag fundraiser. Secondly, we would like to say how much we truly appreciate Ms Rosalie! She donated the American flag to the grade letting us make a 100% profit going to our end of year field trip. Her kindness is a true gift and we are so grateful for her thoughtfulness. Ms. Rosalie is such a huge part of our school and our kids love her so much.

In a creative and hands-on exploration of Ancient Egyptian culture, Mrs. Boggs and the 6th-grade class embarked on an unforgettable journey into the world of mummification. Using teddy bears as their "bodies," the students worked as embalmers, learning the meticulous process that the ancient Egyptians used to preserve their dead. The project provided a fun and educational opportunity for students to gain insight into the ancient art of mummification, from the removal of internal organs to the careful wrapping and preservation techniques. Mrs. Boggs led the way as the chief embalmer. This hands-on project not only deepened their understanding of ancient history but also fostered teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking. Who knew that Ancient Egypt could be brought to life through teddy bears?
