Hello Parents,
The MISD School Board will be recognizing students for fall outstanding achievements. The secondary campus is mailing a letter home, but for your convenience the meeting will be held Thursday, January 27th in the Multipurpose Room located on the secondary campus. Pizza will begin at 6:30 and recognition will begin at 7:00. You will get a letter if your student is being recognized.
Benchmark Testing Schedules for this week can be found on the Morton website for both campuses.
Morton competed in a Texas Department of Transportation competition by submitting a Public Service Announcement. Morton High School came in 2nd place earning the school a $1,500 mini-grant! Way to go Tribe!

Our Morton secondary students have been working this week to give back to our community. Today they gave ornaments and cards to the senior citizens and served them lunch, gave wreaths to our businesses, sang to shut ins and gave them hats they made and even blessed the birds!
Our Maidens lost in a close game tonight with the final score being 47-50! Congratulations to our Morton Indians on their win tonight over All Saints! The score was 43-40! #gotribe
