Mrs Baird's Bread and United Supermarkets are proud to announce the return of the Teachers On The Rise program for the 2022-2023 school year. It is going to be an exciting year as we are celebrating our 11th year of the program in the Lubbock/South Plains, and we look forward to honoring many awesome area teachers this year.
If you are not yet familiar with the Teachers On The Rise program, here is a brief recap of what the program is all about. This student/family nominated program honors three teachers every month--one in elementary, one middle school/junior high and one high school. We know teachers have such a tremendous impact on students every day, and these are the stories we want to hear about. Our nomination portal, www.MrsBTeacher.com. Students and families are welcome to nominate current or former teachers. Thank you for your support of our great teachers. We look forward to visiting your school this year to honor teachers who go above and beyond the call of duty.

Morton ISD 7-12 grade Summer strength and conditioning participants!!!!! If you attended summer strength and conditioning, we will be having a pool party July 31st. at the Country Club from 4-7pm. Bring your own towels and we look forward to seeing you!!
Registration for Morton Elementary will be next week, August 2 -5, from 8AM until 4PM each day. New enrollees, be sure to bring birth certificate, social security card and proof of address.
First day of school is August 17!
Morton ISD is now taking applications for the position of grounds, with other duties, such as general maintenance, transportation, and custodial work as directed by the maintenance director.
CDL is required with bus driving certification. Bus certification can be obtained after hiring if needed.
Must pass a background check
Experience with lawn mowers, weed eaters, and lawn sprinklers preferred.
