Hello Parents, below are all forms needed to be completed by SPECO students that attend Morton. Other forms that will require a paper version will be given out at Back to School Night or sent home on the first day of school.

Hello Parents as the year is set to kick off here are some of the updates to the Student Code of Conduct:

1. NO TELECOMMUNICATION DEVICES ON MORTON ISD PROPERTY DURING INSTRUCTIONAL DAY
2. Only parents or guardians will be allowed to sign students out for lunch.(Emergency contacts are only for emergency)
3. Parking permits will now be required to park on Morton ISD Property. License and Proof of Insurance will be required.
4. After the First bell of the day no outside food deliveries will be allowed at the school.
5. Students will only be allowed to have clear drinking containers. No everyday use cups. (No yeti's, Stanley's, fountain drink cups, etc... ) Must be clear original container (NO GLASS)
6. Dress Code: Hoodies are allowed no hood over head, tights will be allowed with appropriate shirt it no longer has to be oversized, Holes in jeans will be allowed (No skin Showing above the Knee).

We hope you had a wonderful and refreshing summer break! As the new school year approaches, we’re excited to welcome our students and families back to campus. Come meet the amazing teachers who will be guiding and inspiring our students this year!

If you are serving as a substitute for this school year, please make plans to attend this training.

We are so sorry our phone lines are in and out. We are working on solving this problem, please come by the school for any questions or concerns. We will update you when they are fixed! Have a great day!

SUMMER BAND SCHEDULE

If you are not signed up for band and want to, please contact Mr. Schwierjohn. This year looks to be the largest band Morton has had in many years. Come be a part of it.

Elementary Registration

With heavy hearts it brings us great sadness to share the passing of one of our beloved teachers, Mr. McCain. A treasured member of the Morton ISD family, Mr. McCain brought joy, laughter, and unforgettable energy to our classrooms every day. He always had a rap ready to share, often paired with a perfectly timed joke that could brighten anyone’s day. His talent, spirit, and deep care for his students and colleagues were truly one of a kind—something that simply cannot be matched. Mr. McCain made a lasting impact on every life he touched, and his absence leaves a hole in our hearts and halls. We will miss you dearly, Mr. McCain. Thank you for everything.🖤💛

Dear Parents and Students, This week is dedicated to important testing. To support student success, we kindly ask that students get plenty of rest each night, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive on time each day. Please pay close attention to the testing schedule and ensure your child is prepared with any necessary materials. Thank you for your continued support, and best of luck to all our students!
