Morton INDIAN and MAIDEN fans!! Morton ISD is Celebrating our 100 YEARS of MISD!! We will kick-off our festivities alongside Cochran County's 100 years celebration ON MAY 11th! Morton ISD will continue a Centennial Celebration theme throughout the 2024-2025 school year!

Senior Spotlight Day 9 Nevaeh Marquez Nevaeh has attended MHS for 4 years. She is the daughter of Samantha Garza and Angel Marquez. While at Morton she has participated in FCCLA, HOSA, Basketball, Track, Softball, OAP, and STUCO. She enjoyed growing up with her friends and seeing them change in a good way! Her favorite memory of high school is the last day of junior year because we had a water slide, snacks and it was a great way to end the school year! #WeRiseTogether

Senior Spotlight Day 8 Clarissa Holland Clarissa has attended MHS for 4 years. She is the daughter or Sherry and Waymon Holland. While at Morton she has participated in Cross Country, Basketball, Track, Powerlifting, Golf, Softball, OAP, Cheer, Student Counsil, FFA, Yearbook, FCCLA, HOSA, and UIL. Clarissa received 1st Team All District-Basketball, All Around Best Athlete, Golf MVP, Powerlifting MVP, 2 time District Champ in Golf. She was a 2-time regional qualifier in powerlifting, 3-time qualifier in gold, 3-time area qualifier in track and a 2-time regional qualifier in track. Her favorite memory was dairy judging. #WeRiseTogether

It's Game Day!! We will have a send off for the baseball team at 2 o'clock. It will begin at the high school and they will head out of town going North towards Muleshoe! #WeRiseTogether

Senior Spotlight Day 7 Gilberto Vigil Gilberto has attended MHS for 4 years. He is the son of Gilberto Vigil and Nancy Martinez. While at Morton he participated in FFA, football, and track. He received awards in FFA, as well as obtaining welding certifications! His favorite memories were being around his friends! #WeRiseTogeher

Senior Spotlight Day 6 Ruby Gutierrez Ruby has attended MHS for 4 years. She is the daughter of Gustavo and Azucena Gutierrez. While at Morton Ruby has participated in basketball, track, cross country, cheer, yearbook, student council, One-Act play, UIL and FFA. Spending time and laughing with her friends is what she enjoyed most about MHS. Her favorite memory was going to the Science Spectrum her junior year. #WeRiseTogether

Regional-Quarter Baseball Playoff Game The Indians will play a three game series to the Regional-Quarter title. Game One Thursday, May 9th at 5 PM at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview Texas. Game Two 30 minutes after the conclusions of Game One Game Three If necessary will be played on Saturday, May 11th at 3 PM at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview Texas. #WeRiseTogether

Senior Spotlight Day 5 Ester Franco Ester has attended MHS for 3 years. She is the daughter of Federico and Maria Franco. While at Morton she has participated in One-Act Play and Yearbook. Her favorite memories are any moments spent with her close friends! #WeRiseTogether

Senior Spotlight Day 4 Alexander Lopez Alexander has attended MHS for 4 years. He is the son of Gladys Lopez. While at Morton Alex has participated in football, basketball, baseball, track, and FFA. He enjoyed playing sports with his teammates during basketball season the most! #WeRiseTogether

It's GAME DAY!!!! The Indians will play at Lubbock Christian today at 6 o'clock for the first round of playoffs! Game is subject to change due to weather. Any game time changes will be updated on all Morton Schools social media pages. #WeRiseTogether
